87 Buick GN/Corvette
LS 2 Engine Conversion
Not for the faint of heart is the conversion of
Modern Muscle.
Perhaps that is why this 87 Grand National sat
for almost 3 years at another shop before E-Muscle got the call to take on this
late model Corvette LS2 conversion!
A call from South Carolina on a Friday
resulted in a pick up and capture of a 1987 Buick Grand National by Monday along
with the purchased LS2 Vette motor and drivetrain. The project: Connect the
dots and make the swap.
Along with the power upgrade will be the
ability to stop better with a set of front and rear SSBC brakes.
This project will also be taking on a new
custom interior and fresh paint to round out the package before she’s done.
